The Tesla Semi will be a quiet battery-electric Class-8 truck with zero ‘tailpipe’ emissions. It will be autonomous-capable on the highway* and have a range of 500 miles*. Its overall emissions will drop over time as the US produces more and more electricity from renewables like solar and wind.
